This is Not a Real iPad 2 Review

iPad 2 Pros & Cons
The biggest iPad 2 Cons in my opinion are the lack of a simple SD slot for SD cards and of course the fact that there is NO FLASH SUPPORT again!
Here is the new, updated, real iPad 2 review .These are some of the comments from Apple:
With the built-in accelerometer, you can rotate iPad to portrait or landscape, or even upside down, and whatever you’re watching, reading, or seeing adjusts to fit the display.

That’s because iPad features fast, efficient, and reliable flash storage that lets you access data quickly. So everything effortlessly springs to life. Then it instantly transforms your taps, swipes, pinches, and flicks into lifelike actions. The iPad Smart Cover falls perfectly into place and stays put to protect your iPad screen, yet doesn’t add bulk to its thin, light design. They’re designed for FaceTime video calling, and they work together so you can talk to your favorite people and see them smile and laugh back at you. The iPad2 is just amazing!

iPad 2 Review - Pros & Cons of the new tablet

iPad 2 Review - The future is Now!

Finally, the Apple iPad 2 review. The name iPad is an awesome word -- more than a product -- it's a statement and an idea. Sleek design. Gorgeous, sharp, accurate touch screen. Improved iPod, Safari browser, photo and e-mail apps. iBooks look awesome and titles are easy to purchase and download. A great variety of downloadable apps. The iPad is all about its screen, and Apple's 9.7-inch LED backlit IPS display does not disappoint. Colors on the screen are vibrant and saturated, while the blacks feel deeper than ever before. The iPad 2 has a large LED backlit multi- touch display is 9.7in and the pixel resolution is 1024x768.
The simple act of making the multitouch screen bigger changes the whole experience. Maps become real maps, like the paper ones. Scrabble shows the whole board, without your having to zoom in and out. You see your e-mail inbox and the open message simultaneously. Driving simulators fill more of your field of view, closer to a windshield than a keyhole. There are 12 preloaded apps on the iPad: Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Maps, Videos, YouTube, iTunes, App Store, Safari, Mail, Photos, and iPod. Maps is particularly useful and entertaining.
I love Apple's new e-reader application, iBooks. The virtual bookshelf, on which your digital tomes sit, is an example of Apple design at its best; elegant, simple, well-executed. The reading experience itself was also delightful, with the pages of the virtual books having the sort of patina you would expect to find on a printed novel. Turning pages is achieved with a taping of the fingers, or a single tap in the right-hand margins.
In this iPad 2 review we can’t really talk about the price because it’s not out yet. The price of this device is considered to be modest especially for its capabilities, because ultimately it is about the software. This device is not about the hardware features and build; it is about the software and user interface.

iPad 2 Review - The laptop killer?

The new iPad is basically a huge iPod Touch. It’s a half-inch-thick slab, all glass on top, aluminum on the back. The iPad is Apple's device, unveiled in January, 2010, and launched in April, 2010. The iPad is particularly marketed as a platform for audio and visual media such as books, periodicals, movies, music, and games. There is nothing outwardly notable about the buttons or layout on the iPad 2 -- if you've used an iPod touch or iPhone, you'll find yourself right at home... and that's exactly how Apple wants it. Ultimately, the iPad 2 is a large iPod touch: a great device to draw your inspiration from, but perhaps not the seismic shift in technology that we were expecting. It’s definitely not perfect, and it’s still pretty expensive  but it’s also not finished. In fact, it’s just getting started. It will only get more impressive, more expensive and even more likely to ‘kill’ your laptop as new apps, updates and, eventually, models are released. Click here for a more recent iPad 2 review.
